These were taken in a small KZN town north of Durban city. It is winter here and photogenic sky and cloud opportunities are further and fewer between than they would be in summer. The sun had to rise about ~10 degrees off the horizon before surfacing a top the cold front out at sea. This is roughly 60 minutes from the peeking over the horizon to being seen and by that time the red light is mostly gone.
